Garbage Update

So I thought I would give you a little update on our exciting garbage situation. Sortly after our 5 am discussion Jason came to his senses and decided he better call the city and get our garbage can back. But the city only works 4 days a week. They've got it rough so they have to take a 3 day weekend every week. So he calls the city the next Monday and says, "I had one of my garbage cans hauled off last week and now I am in trouble with my wife, So can I get it back?" and the city tells him that there is a shortage of Garbage Cans so they don't have one for us. So here is my yard after a wind storm this week and as I went to clean it up it didn't all fit back in the can, so below is an after picture and today after the garbage is dumped and I clean up the rest that didn't fit in the can it should be half full with a whole week until the Garbage is picked up again!!!

I think Jason is hoping that they bring us another can soon!!

Yes, I can be positive!!!

Don't fall off your chairs this post is going to be a positive one and it's even about my KIDS!!!! OK so Kaleb and Cheyenne have been feeling sooooo left out because I never post anything about them. Chey asked me why I never do posts about her, and I told her it was because Harley was doing so many bad things that I needed to remember, so I posted them so I can print it and give her a copy when her first child is 12. I guess I need to post some positive things so I actually remember that there were SOME positive things that happened. So there will be some posts on Chey in the near future, but Kaleb's Hershey Track Meet was today. So Kaleb has been looking forward to this day since last years track meet. He has been training and training for it for weeks now. Last night he got his hair bleached (you can't tell because he was already so blonde) but on the way home he said"I hope I can sleep tonight, I am sooo excited!!!" And I can totally relate, I loved the Hershey Track Meet. Kaleb is a sprinter, he signed up for the 100 meter and the 200 meter. He placed first in both races in the primary and the semi-finals and then he qualified for the finals which only 7 kids do in all the surrounding schools. Then he placed 4th in the 200 and 3rd in the 100. So we were really excited. CONGRATS TIBBY!!!

This is Rian, she didn't care much for the running but she loved the OREO'S

A few of Kaleb's BFF'S. I call them Nerds.

Kalebs Nerdy Smile.
So on a side note, I know you have all been sitting on the edge of your seats wondering about Harley. So you will all be glad to know that she has 2 wonderful Aunts one who let her babysit and earn $$$$ to get her hair fixed and another who cut it for her. So that drama is hopefully in the past. And I checked her grades and about passed out. 3 A's and 3 B's. I know it's shocking but we hope she keeps up the good work. I think we might unground her in a month or so now.

We've got a Beautician in the House!!!

So this morning I was awakened at the bright hours of 5am to Harley's alarm clock, and I didn't think a whole lot about it so I went back to sleep. I woke back up around 6:30 and caught a glimpse of Harley walking into the bathroom with the hood of her hoodie on. I thought to myself what is she doing, it isn't rainy or sunny in here. But I just went on about my business. I went downstairs to make pancakes for my kids for breakfast and I called them all down to eat, mysteriously Harley is nowhere to be found. So I tell Cheyenne to call my sister April and see if she came early to get her for school. She hadn't, so I noticed the front door was only locked on the bottom lock so I opened the door and looked out on the porch, and there she was sitting on the bench with her hoodie on still. So I asked her what she was doing and she said UUGH, which if you remember in her grade post was what she does when she knows she is going to be in trouble. So I grabbed the hood and pulled it back to see what the problem was and I see something I never expected. SHE CUT HER HAIR!!!! to her chin, all by herself. I was mortified, I asked her what she was thinking, and she replied that we wouldn't let her cut her hair so she did it. She figured that if she cut the length we would run her over to her Aunt April and have her fix it, but she was wrong. I told her not only would I not take her she would have to go to school with her home cut hair do, and that she would need to earn her own money to have it fixed and that she could not earn the money from me! So if any of you have any chores or babysitting you need done Harley is anxiously awaiting your phone calls!!!
